Do adjustments hurt?

Adjustments are painless. Sometimes when you begin getting adjustments within 24 hours it feels like you went to the gym. That is completely normal as the body heals.

Once I go to a chiropractor do I have to keep going?

Absolutely not. How long you decide to benefit from chiropractic care is always up to you.

Are all patients adjusted the same way?

Every patient is unique, which is why it is so important that our chiropractors have training in many different techniques that help our patients heal as quickly and comfortably as possible. We do not believe in “one size fits all” chiropractic.

Depending on the specifics of the case the chiropractors use one or a combination of the following techniques :

  • ·      Diversified (manual adjustments)
  • ·      Activator Technique (a gentle instrument adjustment)
  • ·      Network Spinal Analysis (using a gentle touch and breathing)
  • ·      Specialized Stretches and Exercises

The goal is always to allow you to heal as quickly and comfortably as possible. After a through history, examination and possible Xrays your chiropractor will discuss what technique(s) they suggest for you.

Along with chiropractic care, the doctors will discuss posture and self-care that may include heat, ice, ideal sitting or sleeping positions, proper pillow selection and exercises or stretches that fit each individual’s lifestyle.

Can I use my insurance to pay for my care?

Yes! Our trained insurance specialists will be able to review your insurance details and let you know the most efficient way to receive its benefits. Our patients pay us directly and then in most cases we can bill their insurance for them online immediately, and the funds are returned to them within 24-48hrs.

Some insurance companies are not set up for online billing yet, in that case we will provide you with reciepts to submit for reimbursement.

How long have the doctors been in practice?

The doctors have been in practice over 25 years! After 25 years they still frequently attend conferences and read the latest research on the cutting edge of natural healthcare. If you have questions about anything you want more informations about from chiropractic to ketogenic diets, cold water therapy etc please ask. We can almost guarantee they know quite a bit about it (have likely tried it themselves), and can provide details about how to get the greatest results.

Do you see people who have been in car accidents?

Yes, our office is set up for online insurance billing for all car accident cases. Because we are a multi-disciplinary office, we provide both chiropractic and massage to ensure rapid, complete healing. Jessica is our motor vehicle expert who will help you fill out your paperwork (and let you know which parts are required) and she can speak to your adjuster directly if you have any questions.

Can I continue my workouts while I recieve chiropractic care?

In most cases, yes. However, we do not advise intense workouts immediately after adjustments, especially when beginning care, the body needs time to heal. We encourage our patients to return to their activities as quickly as possible and we often add specialized rehabilitative exercises and stretches to their routine for maximum results.

The goal is to allow you to feel your best so that you can be as active as you want to be, we don’t want you to give up the sports or hobbies you love. We encourage all of our patients to move as much as their busy lives allow them to.

Is chiropractic safe?

Chiropractic is one of the safest health professions in the world. In fact, it is the largest natural health profession in the world.

What kind of education does a chiropractor have?

A chiropractor’s education is the same length as a general practitioner. Chiropractors do a minimum of 3 years undergraduate work followed by 4 years of chiropractic schooling.(7 years!) In fact, chiropractic education is so extensive, chiropractors are one of the very few professionals who have the knowledge to diagnose patients, read Xrays and are given the title doctor.
