30 years? Can’t be!
We’ve been blessed to share our days with so many amazing people. We’ve gotten to do what we love – help people heal naturally from things they thought they’d have to live with forever. It’s been a blessing and now it’s time to celebrate!
We’re celebrating three ways:
1. We’re having a party of course.
Spinning wheel of prizes, fun draws, refreshments and more! Party starts Sept 18 – it’s going to be fun!
2. We’re changing our new patient fee from $109 to $30, and we’re donating all proceeds to St Joe’s Cafe!
It’s full circle…
Anyone you refer will pay just $30 to feel so much better and then we’ll give that $30 to the Cafe to feed our community!
3. We’re supporting St Joe’s cafe through donations and an office wide PB and J Drive!
Please bring in your donations of PB &J and we’ll ensure they get into the right hands to feed our community.
How did we choose which organization to support?
We asked our community of patients for their input and boy did we get some wonderful suggestions. It was extremely hard to choose but we’ve decided to support an organization that feeds our community – St. Joe’s Cafe.
Dr. Laina met with Tracey who runs the Cafe and got a tour. It’s exactly what we were looking for! Dr. Laina and Dr. Jamie have volunteered at a soup kitchen in the past and found it so fulfilling. Donating funds is always a wonderful, generous thing to do…but if you’re like most people you often wonder what they do with the money.
There was something about handing someone a plate of food that felt so much more essential in the moment. That person got to eat today, they don’t have to worry about going hungry.
Tracey shared that St Joe’s Cafe feeds some people experiencing homelessness but the majority of families who eat there have homes, they’re just having trouble keeping them due to the inflated prices of everything, including food.
Breakfast at St Joe’s is $0.50 and lunch is $1.00. Many of the donations are anonymous and the selfless volunteers are wonderful.
How else can you help?
We wanted an easy way for our patients to lend a hand so Tracey recommended a peanut butter and jam drive. We loved the idea!
Please bring an unopened jar of peanut butter and/or jam to your next appointment and we’ll be sure they get handed out to people who need them.
Our goal is 200 jars and we’ll be collecting them from Sept 18 – Oct 21.

It’s quietly keeping our community fed so they can stay in their homes and off the streets.
Food is something we all need and I can’t imagine the stress that must come from not knowing how you’re going to feed yourself and your family. We are honored to be able to help.

Thank you for the last 30 years. At the risk of getting too mushy we wanted you to know how much it has meant to us. Amazing people are at the heart of everything we do, thank you for being one of them.
Here’s to the next 30! (We’re not kidding 😀).
