Tasty All-Natural Treats for Your Kids (and You!)


All-Natural Snack Bars



  • 1 cup all natural butter (peanut, almond or nut butter)
  • ½ cup honey
  • 1/c cup oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup almonds (slivered, whole or chopped)
  • 1/2 cup hemp
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips


Note: You can change up the recipe to suit your likes and dis-likes.  Just substitute ½ cup of whatever you like.


On the stove melt nut butter and honey.  In a separate bowl mix in the remaining ingredients except the chocolate chips.

Once the nut butter and honey is melted, pour over the dry mixture.  Stir until mixed.  Once it has cooled a bit add in chocolate chips.  If you do this to soon the chocolate chips will melt.

Pour onto a cookie sheet.  Spread evenly on cookie sheet.  Bake in oven at 350 for 20-25 minutes depending on oven.   Should be light golden brown all over.


Very important – Once it comes out of the oven let it cool completely or it will crumble.  Once cooled cut into squares and place in containers.  These freeze very well.
