Kristine’s Weight Loss Story
I never thought that I would be a weight loss success story. I’m only 22, but for as long as I can remember I’ve been worried about and distracted by my weight. After getting to know Dr. Shulman as my Chiropractor, I was thrilled to see that I could get the same knowledge and support in an area where I REALLY needed it! After reading The Last 15, I promised myself that I would and could make this work. Changing my eating habits came easily, since I was provided with a variety of meals and snacks that were simple and fast!
Exercising everyday, cutting out caffeine and alcohol, focusing on protein, fruits, and vegetables, not eating after 7:00 pm…and 2 lbs lost almost every week! Throughout it all, I began feeling so much healthier, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too. And I loved how Dr. Shulman showed just as much happiness as I did every time I got on the scale! In 3 months, I lost 22 lbs, and now, almost a year after I first started the program, I cannot believe that I have kept it off! But if I ever do gain it back or want to drop a few more pounds, I now know how to do it easily and safely!
