Dr. Jamie Neely - My Story
From patient to doctor
From the very beginning, my journey to health was fraught with challenges. Born six weeks premature, my early days were spent in an oxygen tent, battling a host of health issues that followed me into childhood.
Allergies, asthma, nasal polyps, hernias—you name it, I faced it. These health hurdles made my childhood far from easy, especially when they interfered with my love for hockey. I adored the sport, but my asthma made it difficult to even breathe on the ice, let alone play to my fullest potential.
It was a game-changer when I was introduced to chiropractic care at the age of ten. The adjustments I received were nothing short of transformative, allowing me to breathe more easily and reducing my reliance on inhalers. For the first time, I could enjoy sports without the constant fear of an asthma attack. My health improved significantly, and I found myself getting sick less often, growing stronger both physically and mentally.
This profound effect on my health wasn’t just a short-term relief; it became a cornerstone of my life. As an adult, chiropractic care remained my go-to solution for healing from sports injuries and maintaining my overall wellness.
Alongside Dr. Shulman, I chose to raise our children with the same philosophy, opting for natural healing methods over medication or invasive procedures whenever possible. My experiences have instilled in me a deep belief in the body’s innate ability to heal itself, with chiropractic care serving as a vital support in this natural process.
Through my own journey, I’ve become a passionate advocate for chiropractic care, dedicated to helping others discover the profound impact it can have on their lives.

Dr. Laina Shulman - My Story
Healing from headaches and scoliosis pain
As a teenager diagnosed with scoliosis, I was too familiar with the concept of living in discomfort. The advice was always the same: “Learn to live with the pain.” But deep down, I knew there had to be a better way to manage my condition.
Fast forward to my pre-medical studies, when severe headaches began to plague my days, making it nearly impossible to focus on my studies. The suggestion of painkillers didn’t sit well with me—I wanted to get to the root of my headaches and solve the problem, not just mask the pain.
In my search for answers, a friend suggested chiropractic care, and though skeptical, I was desperate for relief. That decision changed my life. My chiropractor found that the cause of my headaches was nerve irritation in my neck, something that could be addressed with chiropractic adjustments. To my amazement, not only did my headaches disappear, but so did other symptoms I thought I’d have to live with forever.
This experience had a profound effect on me. It led me to shift my career path from medicine to chiropractic, driven by a profound belief in the body’s ability to heal naturally.
Chiropractic care isn’t just my profession—it’s a way of life for me. I know firsthand how debilitating chronic pain can be, and my passion lies in helping others find relief through natural, non-invasive means.
Thanks to chiropractic, I’ve been able to enjoy the activities I love and lead an active lifestyle. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to share the gift of natural healing with my patients, helping them to live their lives to the fullest, free from pain.
