Proper Side Plank Technique 

 Side plank can be a very challenging exercise so please speak one of the chiropractors at Pure-Health before beginning this exercise and ensure you are not straining your neck or shoulders when performing it.
While many of us are now more focused on our core strength, and plank pose is definitely becoming more popular, working the sides of our torso is equally as important. It is normal to have one side of our spine stronger than the other, especially if you have a scoliosis. Performing this exercise regularly will strengthen the weaker side and add more support to your core. With continued effort you will notice the “weak side” making great strength gains, stabilizing your spine in the process.
