As a female chiropractor, I’ve had the privilege of helping thousands of women feel their best at every stage of life.
Our bodies change constantly, and what kept us feeling strong at 32 or 42 doesn’t always work at 52. It’s no wonder many patients tell me, “I feel like my body is changing, and I don’t know what to do.” I understand, because I’ve been there too. After 31 years in practice, one of my greatest joys is helping women navigate these transitions with simple, effective, natural solutions.
Here are my favourite things about being a female chiropractor:
1️. Understanding Women’s Needs
I deeply relate to the health challenges women face. From brain fog, inflammation, weight gain, and tension headaches, to menopause, vertigo, and sciatica—I’ve had these conversations often, both professionally and personally.
Women juggle a lot—raising families, managing careers, supporting loved ones—so our health can easily fall to the bottom of our priorities. That’s why I’ve spent decades creating simple strategies to help busy women put their health first. Even small changes, like our quick stretching and strengthening routines, can make a huge difference.
2️. Raising My Family Naturally
Being both a chiropractor and mom has been one of the greatest gifts of my life. Raising two boys, I developed deep trust in the body’s ability to heal naturally.
I know what it’s like navigating a world that pushes medication over natural healing—but I chose a different path.
My kids didn’t eat organic broccoli every morning, but we adjusted them from birth, strengthened their immunity, minimized medications, spent lots of time outdoors, and ate real food as much as possible.
As a result, they have a strong foundation of health—and helping other moms build the same for their families is incredibly rewarding.

3️. Amazing Connections
One of the most fulfilling parts of my career has been the deep, lasting relationships built with patients. I’ve shared hugs, celebrated milestones, and watched families grow.
Recently, a patient I first adjusted 27 years ago visited with her newborn. In one special moment, I adjusted grandma, mom, and baby all together—how incredible is that?
Prioritizing our health isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity.
We deserve the same commitment and care we give our family, work, and friends. When we feel better, we not only show up more fully for others, but life itself feels richer and more fulfilling.
If you’ve been told your symptoms are just “part of getting older,” please know that very possibly isn’t true.
At Pure Health, we help women with a wide range of issues—including headaches (which I’ve personally struggled with), scoliosis (which I have), posture concerns, neck and shoulder pain, sciatica, and more.
